Holehouse Road

Up to 100 homes on 5 hectares of green belt at Holehouse Road, on the edge of the conservation village.

What’s proposed

TODO: Describe where the site is in words people know. Check against the council’s framework drawing.

What we know so far:

  • Up to 100 homes, with Robertson Homes named as developer (The Eaglesham Echo, 2 September 2026). TODO: confirm in the plan.
  • The site covers about 5 hectares on the council’s map. All of it is green belt in the current plan (LDP2).
  • It sits on the edge of the Eaglesham Conservation Area, between the village and the Eaglesham North site.
  • The plan’s maps show an enhanced green network (SP2.20) and community growing space with an orchard (LP5.20) as part of the site.

What the plan says

TODO: Quote the Proposed LDP3 briefly, with the page number.

What it could mean for the village

Questions we’re asking

TODO

A walk round Holehouse Road

Video to come. A short walk along the edge of the site from public paths, showing where the homes would go.
